Why Rotational Grazing?

Long story short- It’s most sustainable! Before our sheep, seasonal burns controlled invasive species and encouraged bountiful regrowth. However, this practice decreased soil quality and moisture by turning all grass into ash. By moving sheep around the prairie, grass is mowed without overgrazing, moisture is retained, and waste nutrients enrich the soil.
